GLASS RASCHIG RING

The ground glass rings are made of lead free glass. They have 8mm diameter, 10 +/-2mm length, 1.4mm thick. Ground glass rings have a much bigger absorbing surface than non-ground glass rings of the same size. They form a perfect distillation column filling. They don't absorb smells, are chemically neutral and have a high thermal inertia.
